I offer private yoga in your home or office in Clayton, Pine Level, Wilson, Princeton, and Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Many of my students outside of my travel area opt to meet virtually via Zoom for private yoga.
I have had a previous injury or surgery. Is private yoga a good option for me?
Yes! All private yoga sessions are designed uniquely for you. The practices are always tailored for your goals and fitness level. I also teach modified versions of the poses to make the poses more accessible for you. This personalized approach is one of the main benefits of a private class versus a group class.
Do I need a large room for my yoga practice?
No. The great thing about yoga is that you can practice anywhere. As long as you have room for a yoga mat, you have room to practice!
Do you provide a yoga mat and props?
Most of my private yoga clients do wish to buy their own personal props once their practice is established. I provide options of items you can use around your home that can serve as props in your practice.
Are pets allowed?
Pets can provide additional humor to our fun, comfortable atmosphere. So they are welcomed. If you feel that your pet might be a distraction to your practice, you may prefer to let them be in a separate room from the practice so that you are able to be fully present.
What about kids?
My goal is to create an environment where you can release tension, stress, and be fully present in the practice so that you can become contagiously healthy- especially for your little ones. If your space and life stage mean that kids are running around, that is entirely OK with me. I am a mom and many times my children are running around while I am practicing yoga. They even join in from time to time and if your kids would like to join in, it is fine with me.
Is virtual private yoga as good as private yoga in-person?
Virtual private yoga is very convenient. I provide the same amount of personalized instruction in my virtual classes as I do in my in-person classes. The only missing element is the ability for me to provide hands on adjustment as well as a short massage at the end of the practice. Whether you are meeting with me in-person or virtually, you will receive much more personal attention and support than you would in a group class.
